Deadly Crash in Bathinda: Bus and Truck Collide, Dozens Injured

Bathinda(The Uttam Hindu): A horrifying accident occurred on Friday morning in Bathinda district, where a private company bus and a truck collided head-on, leaving dozens of people injured. The crash took place on the Bathinda-Rama Mandi road, which was shrouded in dense fog at the time. Low visibility led to both drivers failing to notice each other in time.

According to reports, more than 20 passengers aboard the bus were injured in the crash. Emergency services rushed the injured to both AMES and Civil Hospital in Bathinda, where they are currently receiving treatment. Authorities have indicated that the dense fog played a significant role in the accident, making it difficult for the drivers to see ahead. The incident has raised concerns about road safety during foggy conditions.
