AAP MLA Naresh Yadav Found Guilty in Malerkotla Quran Sacrilege Case – Court to Decide Sentence!

Malerkotla(The Uttam Hindu):A Malerkotla court will announce its sentencing today in the case of Quran desecration. This case dates back to June 21, 2016, when parts of the holy Quran were found on Jarg Road in Malerkotla. Naresh Yadav, an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Delhi’s Mahrauli area, has been found guilty in the case involving the desecration of the Quran, which occurred during the tenure of the Akali-BJP government.

The case, which emerged shortly before the 2017 state elections, caused significant public outrage, with protests and demonstrations in the area. Eight years ago, Naresh Yadav was accused of desecrating the holy Quran, leading to widespread anger among the public. In response, the police had registered a case against four accused individuals due to the escalating unrest.

The court will announce the sentencing today.
