New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A frustrated Ola Electric customer was caught on video smashing his scooter with a hammer outside an Ola showroom after receiving a bill of ₹90,000, which left him enraged. The viral video shows a man, dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, repeatedly hitting the scooter, which is lying in front of the showroom. Several others join in, taking turns with the hammer to destroy the vehicle. The video caption reads, "The showroom issued a bill of ₹90,000, leaving the customer upset and breaking the scooter in front of the showroom."

The incident comes after comedian Kunal Kamra criticized Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal over poor customer service. Kamra posted an image of multiple scooters parked at an Ola service center and questioned the brand’s after-sales support. He tweeted on X, “Do Indian consumers have a voice? Do they deserve this? Two-wheelers are the lifeline for many daily wage workers.”

In response, Aggarwal fired back on X, suggesting Kamra's tweet was part of a paid promotion. He commented, “Since you care so much, Kunal Kamra, come and help us out! I’ll even pay you more than what you earned for this paid tweet or your failed comedy career. Or else, stay quiet while we focus on fixing issues for our real customers. We’re rapidly expanding the service network, and backlogs will be cleared soon.”
