Bangladesh(The Uttam Hindu): The situation for the Hindu minority community in Bangladesh continues to worsen. ISKCON monk Chinmay Krishna Das was detained last week on charges of sedition as increased demands for his release were made. A bail application is scheduled for 3 December. Meanwhile, a report by ISKCON Kolkata's spokesperson, Radharamon Das, on Monday reported that the attorney representing Chinmay Das, Raman Roy, has been brutally assaulted and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Radharamon Das claimed that the attack on Roy was purely for defending Chinmay Das. He also revealed that radical Islamic extremists had vandalized the lawyer's house. The spokesperson underlined that lawyer Roy received serious injuries during the attack and is currently in the ICU, fighting for his life.

Radharamon Das posted a picture of Raman Roy on the social media platform X, requesting prayers for the lawyer's recovery. He commented, "His only fault is that he is defending Chinmay Prabhu. Islamic extremists vandalized his house and attacked him so severely that he is now in ICU."
