Shahrukh Khan receives death threat; Extortionist demands ₹50 lakh, call traced to Chhattisgarh
Mumbai Police have traced the call to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and a team has been dispatched to investigate further. This incident comes just days after Mumbai Police received a similar threatening message targeting actor Salman Khan. The message, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, gave Salman Khan two options: apologize or pay ₹5 crore to stay alive. The message warned that failure to comply would result in his death. Earlier, on November 5, another threat message was sent to Mumbai Police’s traffic control room, claiming to be from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, stating that Salman Khan should either apologize at their "temple" or pay the ransom to avoid being killed. This is the second threat Salman Khan has received within a week.
In a related incident, Mumbai Police had arrested a man from Jamshedpur on October 24, who had previously threatened Salman Khan in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded a ransom of ₹5 crore. Police have now launched investigations into these threats.
