Saif Ali Khan Attack: Accused Shariful Islam Confesses to Crime

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): A major update has emerged regarding the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The accused, Shariful Islam has confessed to the crime. According to police sources, during interrogation the accused admitted to attacking Saif Ali Khan.

Earlier, the police had arrested the accused Mohammad Shariful Islam. Subsequently, the police recreated the crime scene at Saif's house. They also recovered the third piece of the knife used in the attack on Saif. Mohammad Shariful Islam’s father, Mohammad Ruhul Amin has made several revelations.

He mentioned that he spoke to his son last Friday. Ruhul Amin also clarified that his son did not bring any documents to India. Shariful Islam, who worked as a motorcycle rider had never participated in wrestling. Notably, on the night of January 15 the accused broke into Saif Ali Khan's house with the intent to steal. During the encounter, there was a scuffle between Saif and the accused in which Saif was injured. Saif Ali Khan suffered six stab wounds. After the attack, the accused fled the scene.
