PM Modi to Distribute 71,000 Appointment Letters Under Rozgar Mela Today—Know More About the Nationwide Initiative!
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 71,000 appointment letters to newly-inducted recruits in Union government departments through videoconferencing on Monday, December 23, 2024. This initiative, part of the Rozgar Mela, reflects the Prime Minister's commitment to making employment generation a top priority, as highlighted in a statement by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
The distribution event, scheduled to begin at 10:30 am, will also feature an address by the Prime Minister. The Rozgar Mela is envisioned as a platform to provide young individuals with significant opportunities to contribute to nation-building and achieve self-empowerment. This large-scale event will take place across 45 locations nationwide, with recruits selected from various regions.
The new appointees will join a range of Union government ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Department of Financial Services, among others. The Rozgar Mela underscores the government's commitment to creating meaningful job opportunities, strengthening workforce participation, and fostering a culture of empowerment among the youth, according to the PMO.
