PM Modi Lands and Demands Justice: Orders Swift Action in Varanasi Rape Case Moments After Arrival

Varanasi (The Uttam Hindu) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, where he took information about law and order and development work from senior officials at the airport. PM Modi will address a public meeting in Mehndiganj of Rajatalab and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 44 projects worth Rs 3884.18 crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several important projects and programs in Varanasi. These include the inauguration of 19 projects worth Rs 1629.13 crore and the foundation stone laying of 25 projects worth Rs 2255.05 crore.

Apart from this, he will distribute certificates of three recently registered GI products, provide Ayushman cards to three senior citizens above 70 years of age and transfer bonus of Rs 106 crore to 2.70 lakh milk producers associated with Banas Dairy.During his Varanasi visit, immediately after disembarking from the plane at the airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took detailed information from the Varanasi Police Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate about a rape incident that had taken place in Varanasi city a few days back. PM Modi directed to identify all the culprits in the case and take strict action against them and make arrangements to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future.

Let us tell you that the girl who went missing from her home was raped by 23 young men at different places. They kept on making her their victim for six days. During these days, the places and faces kept changing. In six days many young men came to her to help her, but instead of helping her they made her a victim of their brutality. The girl who escaped from the clutches of the brutals and reached home, along with her family members, reached Lalpur Pandeypur police station and registered a case against 12 named and 11 unknown people. Police raided many hotels and hookah bars on the information given by the girl and arrested nine accused and sent them to jail.
