Bihar (The Uttam Hindu) : Uttar Pradesh and Bihar witnessed a weather disaster. The death toll due to heavy storm and lightning in Bihar has reached 61. Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala and coastal Karnataka may receive light to moderate rains with thunderstorms and heavy rains.

Light to moderate rain is possible in Lakshadweep, interior Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Western Himalayan region. Light snowfall may occur at some places in Arunachal Pradesh and upper regions of Western Himalayas. Light rain is also expected in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Thunderstorms and dust storms may occur in some parts of Delhi and Rajasthan. However, heat wave conditions may persist in Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat region and parts of Madhya Pradesh.
