Patna (The Uttam Hindu): The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has dashed the hopes of students protesting against the 70th Preliminary Examination. The BPSC Controller of Examinations has clarified that the 70th Preliminary Exam will not be canceled under any circumstances. This decision comes as a major blow to the students who have been on strike for the past 10 days, demanding the cancellation of the exam.

The Commission also announced that the Mains examination will be held in April next year. Students have been advised not to pay attention to rumors and to continue their preparations. Some students had alleged malpractices in the exam and were calling for its cancellation. They received support from individuals such as Khan Sir, Guru Rahman, Tejashwi Yadav, Pappu Yadav, and Prashant Kishore.

Khan Sir accused the Commission of concealing evidence related to the alleged malpractice and demanded a thorough investigation. He stated that, if necessary, he would approach the Supreme Court and the President. The Commission's decision has left many students disheartened. It remains to be seen what further actions they will take in response to this ruling.
