Ludhiana visit of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar called off last minute
Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu): The scheduled visit of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar to Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana has been called off due to unforeseen weather conditions. Dhankar, accompanied by Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, was set to attend the International Conference at PAU. However, his arrival was delayed as his plane could not land at the Halwara airport due to thick fog in the region.
The foggy weather disrupted the Vice President's travel plans, forcing the cancellation of the visit. The dignitaries were expected to participate in the event, which was an important gathering for discussions on agriculture and related fields. The cancellation of the visit was a disappointment to the organizers and attendees who had been anticipating the presence of these prominent leaders. Officials have not yet confirmed whether a rescheduled visit will take place, but it is understood that the weather conditions were beyond control. The PAU conference proceeded with its scheduled activities, albeit without the anticipated attendance of the Vice President and other political leaders.
