Khalistani Terrorist Mangat Singh Arrested in Amritsar After 30 Years on the Run

Amritsar (The Uttam Hindu): A Khalistani terrorist who had been absconding for the past 30 years has been arrested by the UP ATS team from Amritsar. The arrested terrorist has been identified as **Mangat Singh**, and he was residing in village Timowal.

According to reports, the UP ATS team had received information about Mangat Singh hiding in Amritsar. Acting on this tip, the team reached Amritsar on Wednesday and, in coordination with the district rural police, launched a search operation in village Timowal. During the operation, the accused Mangat Singh was arrested.

Multiple cases were registered against Mangat Singh in 1993, including terrorist activities, violations under the Arms Act, TADA provisions, attempt to murder, and murder. The Uttar Pradesh Police had also announced a reward of ₹25,000 for anyone providing information about the accused.
