A group of workers, engaged in cleaning a water tank in a building under construction, succumbed to suffocation, leaving the community in shock. According to eyewitnesses, the workers were cleaning the water tank when they suddenly experienced severe suffocation. Despite desperate attempts to escape, they were unable to exit the tank, ultimately leading to their tragic demise. Local residents, who grew concerned when the workers failed to emerge from the tank, alerted the authorities. The Nagpada police promptly responded to the distress call and, with the assistance of local residents, retrieved the bodies from the tank.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, citing suffocation as the primary cause of death. The authorities are also preparing to file a report against the owner of the building under construction, citing negligence and potential lapses in safety protocols.
