93 Lakhs Stolen from Cash Van in Firing; Karnataka Police Arrest Accused in Jalandhar

Jalandhar (Uttam Hindu News)- Karnataka police has raided Jalandhar in connection with the case of looting 93 lakh rupees from a cash van in Karnataka. According to the information, the police has succeeded in arresting one of the accused. It is being told that Karnataka police has taken the accused with them.

Actually, Alok Kumar alias Ashutosh and Aman Kumar, residents of Bihar, together surrounded the cash van of SBI Bank in Karnataka on January 16, threw chilli powder in its eyes and started firing. In this entire incident, one employee died. At the same time, another person was seriously injured in the incident. This loot was of about 93 lakh rupees. After the above incident, the police was on the trail of the accused. Based on the information, the police raided Jalandhar and detained one accused.

A team of Jalandhar City Police also went to assist Karnataka Police in arresting the accused. This raid was conducted near the canal of DAV College in the area of ​​Thana Division Number-1. First the youth was questioned inside a house and then the police took the said youth with them by flight. At present, the accused will be questioned regarding this matter.
