They Came, they Saw, they stole… nothing! 9-second heist becomes instant

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Incidents of theft continue to rise, yet the culprits remain elusive. The latest case has emerged from Mahendragarh, Haryana, where three miscreants managed to steal cash from a grocery store in just nine seconds before fleeing. The shopkeeper, Anil Kumar, immediately reported the incident to the police, who arrived at the scene and launched an investigation.

The theft was uncovered after reviewing CCTV footage, which revealed that two young men and a woman entered the store pretending to be customers. They engaged the shopkeeper in conversation, asking for cold drinks and water cans. When the shopkeeper stepped inside to retrieve a water can, one of the accused swiftly took cash from a bag and after signaling to the others, fled. The shopkeeper grew suspicious after some time and checked the CCTV footage, confirming that the theft had been premeditated.
