Hotel owner beaten up in Palwal
6 people came in a car, hit him with country-made pistol and sticks
Palwal (The Uttam Hindu): Half a dozen armed youths who came in a car at night to Gulshan Dhaba situated on National Highway-19 in Palwal, beat up the hotel owner. They also threatened to kill him. Two accused including the hotel owner were also injured in the fight. Mundkati police station has started action on the complaint of the owner of Gulshan Dhaba by registering a case against 6 people under various sections and has seized two live cartridges found at the hotel. According to police station in-charge Mukesh Kumar, Vinod, a resident of Khatela village, said in his complaint that he has opened a hotel named Gulshan Dhaba on National Highway-19.
A sweet car stopped at the hotel at around 11:20 pm. Jeetu, Amit, Siddharth, Sundar, Bharat and Veeru, resident of Tumsara, both residents of Khatela village got down from the car. It is alleged that accused Jeetu had a country-made pistol in his hand and others had sticks in their hands. As soon as he reached the hotel, the accused attacked him with sticks, threw him on the ground and beat him with kicks and punches and injured him. Hearing the noise of the fight, Ram Avtar and Muneet, residents of Khatela village, came to the spot. After which the accused threatened to kill him and said that today you have been saved, next time we will kill you. Accused Siddharth and Amit also got injured in the fight. While the accused were running away, two cartridges also fell on the spot.
On receiving information about the fight, the police reached the spot and sent the injured to the district civil hospital for treatment. The police also recovered two live cartridges from the spot and took them into custody. The victim has said in the complaint that these cartridges fell from Jeetu. Mundkati police station has started action by registering a case against all the above accused on Vinod's complaint.
