Fatal Accident in Chandigarh: Man's Life Cut Short After Heater Accident During Sleep

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): In a tragic incident in Chandigarh’s Sector-29, a 65-year-old man lost his life after falling onto a heater while sleeping. The incident occurred last night at house number 1545/15.

The deceased, identified as Salam, was living with his brother. According to family members, Salam accidentally fell onto a running heater while asleep. The incident came to light when a child noticed smoke coming from the room and alerted other family members.

Salam’s nephew, I Bhai, opened the door to find a horrifying scene. Salam was lying on the heater, with severe burns on his arms, neck, and legs. The family rushed him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The family has reported the incident to the police. This unfortunate event highlights the importance of exercising caution while using heaters during the winter season.
