"Release All Hostages": US Secretary of State Warns Hamas After Trump’s Call

Washington DC (The Uttam Hindu): US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio has reiterated President Donald Trump's statement and said that Hamas will now have to release all the hostages. After being in captivity for 490 days, Eli and Or Ohad have reached their home in Israel. Now the US Secretary of State has made it clear that Hamas will now have to release all the hostages immediately.

Israel has confirmed that Hamas has released three hostages after negotiations. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had informed that the three hostages, Ohad Ben Ami, Eli Sharabi and Or Levi, were handed over to the Red Cross, from where they were transported to Israel.

When the hostages in Gaza arrived in Israel, they were welcomed by IDF and Shin Bet forces. However, all three of them looked very weak, which increased the concern of their families. All three were immediately sent for preliminary medical evaluation. According to the report, before these hostages were released, Hamas organized a public event. The hostages were forced to attend this event and a masked Hamas activist gave some speech at the ceremony, then all three hostages were given certificates and paraded on the stage.

When the three hostages were reunited with their families, Ohad Ben Ami's mother, Michal Cohen, found her son very weak and looked as if he was older than his mother. Or Levi's brother, Tel Levi, also expressed his pain at seeing his brother so weak. However, everyone insisted on making efforts to bring the hostages back.
