Rahul Dravid Involved in heated argument with Auto-Rickshaw driver in Bengaluru

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In an unexpected turn of events, legendary Indian cricketer and former head coach Rahul Dravid was seen in a heated argument with an auto-rickshaw driver on a busy Bengaluru street on Tuesday evening. The incident, which was captured on video by a passerby, shows Dravid speaking in Kannada and appearing visibly upset during the exchange. According to reports, the argument stemmed from a minor collision between Dravid’s car and a goods auto on Cunningham Road, one of the busiest areas in Bengaluru. Dravid was reportedly moving from Indian Express Junction towards High Grounds when the auto allegedly rammed his car from behind while it was stuck in traffic. It is not yet confirmed whether Dravid was the one driving the car.

A social media post by SOURCE Bengaluru on platform X confirmed that the incident was a minor accident with no injuries reported from either vehicle. The post also stated that no case has been registered regarding the incident. Dravid, who is regarded as one of India’s finest batters, reportedly took the auto driver’s contact number and the vehicle's registration number before leaving the scene. Dravid’s reputation extends beyond his cricketing achievements, as he also captained the Indian team during the 2007 ODI World Cup and recently led the team to victory in the ICC T20 World Cup as head coach.
