“No Biryani for Terrorist Tahawwur Rana Like Kasab, Hang Him Immediately”: 26/11 Hero Speaks Out

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Mumbai terror attack accused Tahawwur Rana is being extradited from America to India. People's reactions have started coming before he sets foot in India. A hero of the 26/11 attack said, 'India does not need to give him a special jail, biryani or other facilities like terrorist Kasab. This was said by Mohammad Taufiq.

There is a 'Chai Wala' in Mumbai, who is known as 'Chhotu' alias Mohammad Taufiq. He is recognized as the hero of the Mumbai terror attack 26/11. Mohammad Taufiq saved the lives of many people in the attacks.

Mohammad Taufiq said that India does not need to provide special cell, biryani and such facilities to Tahawwur Rana in jail. He demanded that there should be separate laws to deal with terrorists. There should be such a system that they get hanged within 2-3 months. Let us tell you that Rana is accused of being involved in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Hundreds of innocent people were killed in the attack. Now Tahawwur will be tried in India.

On April 7, the United States Supreme Court rejected Tahawwur Rana's plea to stay his extradition to India. Rana filed an emergency application before Chief Justice Roberts on March 20, 2025, seeking a stay on his extradition. The Supreme Court order issued on April 7 said, 'The application for stay addressed to the Chief Justice and referred to the Court is denied.

Terror attack took place on November 26, 2008

According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the criminal conspiracy case against Rana was registered by the NIA in Delhi after the deadly November 2008 attacks in which over 160 people were killed.
