New Twist in Saurabh Murder Case: Muskan Rastogi's Pregnancy Reports Positive

Meerut (Uttam Hindu News): There has been a new twist in the famous Saurabh murder case of the city. Muskan Rastogi, the wife of Saurabh who is in jail on the charge of murdering her husband, has been found to be pregnant. On Sunday, after her health deteriorated in the jail, her pregnancy test was done, the report of which has come out positive.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Ashok Kataria confirmed that Muskan's pregnancy test is positive. According to the information, Muskan's health suddenly deteriorated on Sunday night and she also vomited. After this, the jail administration decided to get her pregnancy test done. Senior Jail Superintendent Dr. Viresh Raj Sharma said that this is a standard procedure and every female prisoner coming to the jail is given a pregnancy test. Muskan's test report has also been found positive under this procedure.

It is noteworthy that Indiranagar resident Saurabh was allegedly murdered by his wife Muskan along with her lover Sahil Shukla on the night of March 3. It is alleged that the two bought a blue drum on March 4, placed Saurabh's body in it and then filled it with a solution of cement and dust. This heinous murder was revealed on March 18, after which the police arrested Muskan and Sahil and sent them to jail.

Jail sources also said that Muskan and Sahil have been freed from drug addiction with the help of doctors of the de-addiction centre. Now Muskan is learning sewing in jail, while Sahil is engaged in farming. Meanwhile, the investigation of the case is also going on. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said that a charge sheet will be filed soon in the Saurabh murder case. The news of Muskan being pregnant has added another dimension to the case.
