Mystery Deepens: Two Students Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances at Ashoka University

Rai (The Uttam Hindu): Late Friday night, two students of Ashoka University located in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Rai were found dead under mysterious circumstances sending shockwaves across the campus. The first-year student, Dhruv Jyoti Sahu (20), a resident of Telangana reportedly fell from the 10th floor of the university building, while the body of second-year student, Vignesh Shankar (19) from Bangalore was discovered near the university gate around 2:30 AM on Saturday.

The sudden deaths occurring within a short time frame on Valentine’s Day night have left students and authorities in a state of shock. The university administration promptly alerted the police and informed the families of the deceased. While preliminary reports suggest Dhruv’s death may be a suicide the exact cause remains uncertain and will be clarified after statements from family members and further investigation.

Police Probe Underway

Authorities have launched a multi-angle investigation to determine the sequence of events leading to the two deaths. Forensic teams inspected both locations and the bodies have been sent to the civil hospital for post-mortem. The police are interviewing students, faculty and security personnel to gather crucial details.
