Massive Devotee Gathering in Ayodhya for Ram Navami; Holy Dip in Saryu, Surya Tilak of Ramlala at Noon
Ayodhya (The Uttam Hindu): The grand celebration of Ram Navami festival in Ayodhya has begun with bathing in the holy Saryu river. Since morning, devotees from the country and abroad have been taking a holy dip at various ghats. Chants of Jai Shri Ram, and after bathing in Saryu, the crowd of devotees is moving towards Ram Mandir, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan and Nageshwarnath Temple. Heavy security arrangements have been made at the ghats and temple premises. Teams of Water Police, SDRF and NDRF are deployed. The sequence of darshan-pujan is continuing at Ram Mandir and long queues of devotees are seen outside the temple.
Historic preparation for Surya Tilak:
A huge crowd of devotees gathered in Ayodhya on Ram Navami, holy bath is going on in Saryu; Surya Tilak will be done at 12 noon: This year on Ram Navami, along with the birth anniversary of Ramlalla, Surya Tilak will also take place. At exactly 12 noon, the rays of the sun will illuminate the forehead of Ramlalla. Its successful trial was done on Saturday, in which the rays of the sun remained focused on the forehead of Ramlalla for four minutes. For this, special reflectors and lenses have been installed on the upper floor of the temple, so that the rays of the sun will fall precisely on the forehead in the size of 75 mm. This event will take place in auspicious coincidences like Ravi Yoga, Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga and Sukarma Yoga. The program will be telecast live for the devotees from the country and abroad.
Tight security at the railway station
Special security arrangements have been made at the Ayodhya Dham railway station for Ram Navami. Under the leadership of Inspector Yashwant Singh, the RPF conducted a flag march and assured security. 200 RPF jawans have been deployed at the station, 3 entry gates, 2 exit gates and one emergency gate have been made. Monitoring is being done through 235 CCTV cameras. For crowd management, three holding areas have been made near the station, where passengers will be temporarily stopped in case of heavy crowd. The convenience and safety of passengers have been given top priority.
