Major Railway Disaster Averted in Raebareli, Pilot’s Quick Thinking Saves Train
Rae Bareli (The Uttam Hindu): A major railway accident was averted on Sunday in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. Some miscreants had placed big stones on the railway track near Champa Devi bridge. The accident was averted due to the presence of mind of the loco pilot of the Superfast Express. A complaint has been lodged with the police in this matter. RPF is investigating the matter. Police said that a complaint has been received in the city police station. RPF is looking into this matter. It is investigating it.
Railway officials said that this incident happened on the bridge. Some stones were seen kept between the running rails. As soon as the information was received, the railway officials informed the police and a case was registered at the local police station. At present, the police is investigating whose conspiracy is behind keeping these stones there.
The senior section engineer of Bachhrawan area lodged a complaint in the city police station. Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Sinha said that the matter is being investigated and further action is being taken.
It is noteworthy that for the past few months, there has been a continuous conspiracy to cause a train accident. At some places, stones have been pelted, and at other places, iron rods have been placed on the train's path. The name of the conspirator has not been revealed in any of the cases
