Khalistani Miscreants Strike Again in Canada; Anti-India Slogans Deface Historic Vancouver Gurdwara and Temples

Vancouver (The Uttam Hindu): The anti-India activities of pro-Khalistan elements in Canada are not stopping. In the latest case, the walls of a historic Gurudwara in Vancouver and some temples in British Columbia have been defaced by writing Khalistani and anti-India slogans. This incident has angered the Sikh and Hindu community.

Khalistani slogans were found written on the walls of Vancouver's Khalsa Diwan Society Gurdwara, also known as Ross Street Gurdwara. The spokesperson of the Gurdwara strongly condemned this act and called it an act of desecrating the walls of the sacred Gurdwara. He said that this is the act of a group of separatist Sikhs and doing so at the time of taking oath of unity on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas is highly condemnable.

According to the spokesperson, radical forces want to divide the Sikhs and this is an attempt to create fear. He stressed that their elders have sacrificed for diversity and freedom and they will not let this attempt to create division succeed. It is noteworthy that last Sunday, Nagar Kirtan and Baisakhi parade was organized in this gurudwara, in which Khalistan supporters were stopped from participating. It is believed that this incident could be a revenge for that.

Apart from the gurdwara, Khalistanis have also targeted temples in Suri and British Columbia. Khalistani slogans have been written here too. In particular, the Laxminarayan temple was also targeted. Temple spokesperson Purushottam Goyal said that the Laxminarayan temple plays an active role in maintaining unity among Hindus and Sikhs in Canada, that is why it has been targeted. He claimed that this is not a coincidence but is being done in a planned manner, which is a deep conspiracy to create division between the communities.

Purushottam Goyal also mentioned the announcement of about 60 people of Hindu and Sikh community coming together in Ross Street Gurudwara in December last year to foil the conspiracies of those who want to create division. Let us tell you that in Canada, many temples were attacked in 2023 and 2024 and the police have not been able to arrest those miscreants till now. Khalistanis had also created a ruckus in Laxminarayan temple earlier. After this latest incident, the demand for security of Indian community in Canada and curbing pro-Khalistan activities has once again intensified.
