Indians Deported from the US Reach Panama, Embassy Ensures Safety

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a significant development, a group of Indian nationals deported from the United States has arrived in Panama. The Embassy of India in Panama, Nicaragua and Costa Rica has assured that the individuals are safe and have been provided with all necessary facilities.

Taking to Twitter, the embassy stated, "Panamanian authorities have informed us that a group of Indians have reached Panama from the US. They are safe and secure at a hotel with all essential facilities. The embassy team has obtained consular access. We are working closely with the host Government to ensure their well-being." This comes amid the ongoing crackdown by US authorities on illegal immigrants, which has led to the deportation of several individuals, including Indian nationals. The Indian government is actively monitoring the situation and coordinating with Panamanian authorities to provide necessary support to those affected.
