Gautam Adani Opens His Treasury: ₹10,000 Crore Charity on Son’s Wedding

Ahmedabad (The Uttam Hindu): Industrialist Gautam Adani's younger son Jeet Adani and Diva Shah recently tied the knot and started a new innings of their lives. On this happy occasion, billionaire Gautam Adani has shown generosity by making a huge donation of Rs 10,000 crore.

This donation amount will primarily focus on strengthening the sectors of healthcare, education and skill development in the country. This donation from the Adani Group is aimed at providing access to world-class and affordable hospitals, medical colleges, top-tier K-12 schools and advanced global skills academies to all sections of the society.

Jeet and Diva's wedding ceremony was held in Ahmedabad with traditional rituals in the presence of close family and friends. Gautam Adani shared pictures of the newlywed couple on his social media platform and wrote, With the blessings of Almighty God, Jeet and Diva tied the knot of marriage today. The wedding took place today in Ahmedabad with traditional rituals and Shubh Mangal Bhaav among loved ones. It was a small and very private ceremony, so we could not invite all the well-wishers even if we wanted to, for which I apologize. I sincerely seek love and blessings from all of you for daughter Diva and Jeet.

Before the marriage, Jeet and Diva also took 'Mangal Sankalp', under which they will provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each for the marriage of 500 Divyang sisters every year. Gautam Adani expressed satisfaction over this initiative and said, as a father, I am very satisfied with this Mangal Seva being done by them. I am confident that with this effort, the lives of many Divyang daughters and their families will move forward with happiness, peace and respect.
