18-year-old Abhinav Halwai, 20-year-old Sahil and 19-year-old Vishal Soni, residents of Rethi village of Sikrara area, were studying in 12th class in Khaparhan Inter College. All three close friends went to bathe at Gadhra Ghat, located about one and a half kilometers away from home, on a bike in the afternoon. All three jumped from the bridge's pillar and swam to the last pillar. From there they came back. For the second time, Abhinav and Sahil again started swimming, asking Vishal Soni to stand on the pillar and record a video. During this, Abhinav started drowning after going into deep water. Sahil also drowned while trying to save him. Both went missing. When Vishal shouted, people present at the ghat gathered. Skilled swimmer Sunil Kanaujia started the search for the youth.
