Congress MP Rakesh Rathore Arrested on Rape Charges, Taken Away During Press Conference

Sitapur (The Uttam Hindu): City Kotwali police has arrested Congress MP Rakesh Rathore. According to the information, the police has taken action 12 days after a woman filed a rape case against him.

It is being told that at the time of his arrest, he was talking to journalists at Loharbagh residence. In this, he called the case a political conspiracy. He said, after launching a campaign against land mafia, a case was registered against him. He has full faith in the court and God. After arresting the MP at around 1.30 pm, the police took him to the police station, where statements are being recorded regarding the case. After recording the statement, the police will present him in the court. On the other hand, his family members and supporters are also reaching the police station.
