Lucknow (The Uttam Hindu): A big statement of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has come out regarding Maha Kumbh. Strongly opposing some negative thoughts and questions related to Maha Kumbh, CM Yogi said that these are the same people who have always been in VIP culture. He said that in the last 29 days, 45 crore devotees have taken bath in Maha Kumbh, while some people are spreading false news and spreading propaganda against Sanatan Dharma.

Earlier, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya targeted Akhilesh Yadav and accused him of “narrow-mindedness”. Maurya posted on social media (X) and wrote, “Mr. Akhilesh Yadav ji, stop making baseless statements about Maha Kumbh! Devotees from all over the country are coming to take a holy dip. The government and BJP workers are engaged in serving the devotees day and night with the resolve of service. Your politics has remained limited to demeaning faith and systems. Maha Kumbh is the pride of Indian culture, and by raising questions on it, you are only showing your narrow-mindedness!”

Devotees from every corner of the country and the world are continuing to arrive at the Maha Kumbh. Many film stars and big politicians from across the country have taken a holy dip in this confluence. The world's largest religious fair is being discussed all over the world. By 6 pm on Monday, 1.10 crore devotees had taken a dip, while the total number of bathers has crossed 40 crore.
