Biggest Blow to AAP: Kejriwal and Sisodia Suffer Crushing Defeat in Delhi

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In the results of Delhi Assembly elections, apart from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia also had to face defeat in the elections. Arvind Kejriwal had to face defeat from New Delhi Assembly seat. He had to face defeat from New Delhi seat by 3,186 votes. BJP candidate Pravesh Singh Verma won from here.

At the same time, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia had to face defeat from Jangpura seat. Here BJP's Tarvinder Singh Marwah won by a margin of 1,844 votes.

Talking to the media after the defeat, Manish Sisodia said that we all fought the Delhi assembly elections with great hard work. The people of Jangpura assembly gave us a lot of love and respect. Senior AAP leader and Chief Minister Atishi has won from Kalkaji seat, while Ramesh Bidhuri has faced defeat here. AAP's Durgesh Pathak has faced defeat from Rajendra Nagar assembly seat and BJP's Umang Bajaj has won.

AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar has won from Kondli assembly seat. BJP leader Neeraj Basoya has won from Kasturba Nagar assembly seat. Apart from this, AAP candidate Somnath Bharti had to face defeat from Malviya Nagar.
