Baramulla on Alert After Pahalgam Attack, Govt Orders PM Package Staff to Work From Home

Baramulla (The Uttam Hindu): After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, all the employees appointed under the Prime Minister's package have been instructed to work from home. According to the order issued by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Baramulla, the employees have been instructed to work from home till April 27.

In an order issued by the Baramulla office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO), it was said that all the employees appointed under the Prime Minister's package are being allowed to work from home for this week with immediate effect. This order will remain effective till April 27 (Sunday). It has also been clarified in the order that all the concerned employees should be available to perform their duties and responsibilities and ensure cooperation in departmental work as required.

This step has been taken as a precaution after the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. The Center has also decided to call an all-party meeting today regarding this attack. If sources are to be believed, the situation after the attack, the steps being taken regarding security and the upcoming strategy will be discussed in this meeting. Earlier, on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting of the Cabinet Committee (CCS). This meeting chaired by PM Modi lasted for more than two hours. Many other officials including PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar attended this meeting.

26 people lost their lives and many were injured in the terrorist attack in Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir. This place is a tourist spot about 30 miles away from Srinagar. This heinous terrorist attack is being strongly condemned in the country and abroad.
