After Pastor Bajinder, Police Now Tightens Grip on His Partner for Uploading Victim’s Video on YouTube
Mohali (The Uttam Hindu): A case has been registered at Balongi police station against an associate of pastor Bajinder Singh, who is serving life sentence in a rape case. It is alleged that the accused associate not only revealed the identity of the victim by uploading several video clips related to her on his YouTube channel, but also used objectionable language.
After Pastor Bajinder, now police tightens its grip on his partner, accused of uploading the victim's video on YouTube: The police took immediate action on the victim's complaint and registered a case against Bajinder Singh's associate Ashish Raj Kumar under several sections of the Indian Penal Code including the IT Act. The police has also started the process of shutting down those YouTube channels on which this objectionable content was posted.
According to the police report, in a video Ashish Raj Kumar is heard talking to another colleague on the phone in which he is using derogatory words against the victim. The identity of the victim and her husband is also revealed in the video, which is a crime under the law.
On Wednesday, the victim's husband, while talking to the media, said that supporters of Pastor Bajinder Singh are constantly uploading misleading and insulting videos on YouTube regarding this case. He also alleged that all this is being done to prove the court's decision wrong and defame the victim. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police have started searching for the accused and he is likely to be arrested soon.
