₹20 Lakh Reward Announced for Info on Pahalgam Attack Culprits
Anantnag (The Uttam Hindu)- Jammu and Kashmir Police has released posters of three terrorists who attacked tourists in Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam on April 22 and announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh each for providing information about the terrorists.
Anantnag police on Thursday released posters of three terrorists in a post on social media platform X and said that anyone giving information about Adil Hussain Thokar, Hashim Musa alias Suleman and Ali Bhai alias Talha Bhai will get a reward of Rs 20 lakh each. All three have been described as terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and a separate reward of Rs 20 lakh each has been placed on all three. Police has also assured to keep the identity of the informer about the terrorists confidential. Police has released contact numbers 9596777666 (SSP Anantnag) and 9596777669 (PC Anantnag) to give information. Jammu and Kashmir Police has appealed to the public that if anyone gets any information about the three terrorists, they should immediately contact the police.
Let us tell you that on Wednesday, a day after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, the security forces released pictures and sketches of some suspected terrorists. 26 civilians lost their lives in the terrorist attack and more than 20 people were injured. After the Pahalgam attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India leaving his foreign tour midway. On Wednesday evening, he chaired the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) in which many big decisions were taken. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri had said that India has decided to stop the Indus Water Treaty for the time being. This step has been taken in view of the increasing tension in India-Pakistan relations.
