Aktau (The Uttam Hindu): A passenger plane with 110 people on board, en route from Kazakhstan to Russia, crashed near the airport in the city of Aktau. The Kazakhstan Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the incident. A video of the crash has emerged, showing the plane rapidly descending before crashing to the ground and turning into a ball of fire. The aftermath of the crash is terrifying, but fortunately, many passengers survived, making it a miracle in such a catastrophic event.

Local media outlet Kazpravda.kz reported that the crash caused a fire on board. The Ministry stated, "A total of 52 emergency and rescue teams, along with 11 equipment teams, were sent to the crash site for rescue operations. Upon arrival, the teams found the plane engulfed in flames, and firefighters are currently working to extinguish the fire. There is hope that some survivors may still be found." Preliminary reports indicate that the plane had 105 passengers and 5 crew members on board. However, the exact number of casualties is still unclear. A video circulating on social media shows a part of the plane broken apart, with severely injured passengers emerging from it. Some people are seen rescuing survivors from the wreckage. The survivors appear to be in a state of shock and fear, as such incidents rarely allow people to escape unharmed. Many of the survivors are fortunate to have lived through the horrific crash, though the scene at the crash site is deeply unsettling.

The crash occurred at 6:28 AM local time, just a few kilometers from the airport. According to Flight Radar 24, the aircraft was "in strong GPS jamming contact, causing it to send faulty ADA-B data." Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Unverified videos circulating on social media show the plane as it crashes, with flames and dense black smoke rising into the sky. The Kazakhstan Ministry of Emergency Situations has set up an operational headquarters at their command center and provided a hotline for inquiries.
